In the articles in this group, we will show you how to configure a TO contract in Clock PMS+ in practice. For this purpose, we will use a sample contract with the following parameters:
- Prices for two room types;
- Surcharge for single occupancy;
- Surcharge for additional meals;
- Discounts for children, according to age groups;
- Discount for adults on extra beds;
- Various discounts for early bookings, depending on the time of booking;
- Discounts for extended stays – in the form of free nights.
You can download the contract from the link at the bottom of the article.
Before we begin
Before we start with the configuration, we need to prepare several charge templates:
- Template for overnight stays;
- Templates for additional charges for:
- additional meals (if provided for in the contract);
- additional package services (if included in the contract).
We can use existing templates or create new ones if a different configuration is required.
Detailed information on template configuration can be found [here].
What to extract from the contract
Before we start the configuration, we carefully review the contract to extract the basic information:
- Which room types are covered by the contract.
- What meals are provided.
- Are there different prices for children and how are the age groups defined.
- What is the contract period – how many seasons are specified and what are the specific periods.
