Upcoming French eInvoice Mandate and Clock

France is preparing for the introduction of mandatory electronic invoicing (eInvoicing), which will gradually become applicable to businesses over the coming years. At Clock, we are closely monitoring the regulatory developments to ensure our customers remain compliant and well prepared.

We are pleased to confirm that our global invoicing and PEPPOL partner, Billit, already supports French electronic invoicing requirements and is actively participating in the evolving ecosystem.

To support the upcoming mandate, we are currently working on a small enhancement to the existing Clock and Billit integration. This update will allow Clock PMS+ to send electronic invoices via Billit in accordance with the French eInvoicing framework.

What does this mean for Clock customers?

  • Continued support for electronic invoicing workflows;
  • Integration with a trusted international invoicing partner;
  • Minimal operational changes for existing Billit integration users.

Planned timeline

The development and testing of the enhancement are currently planned to be completed by the end of Summer 2026.

We will continue to share updates as the project progresses and as additional details regarding the French mandate become available.

If you have any questions regarding the upcoming changes or the Billit integration, please feel free to contact our support team.
