After the housekeeper scans their QR code, the link will take them to the Housekeeper App. Here’s how to work with it:
Task Management
The first page displays the current tasks, sorted by their priority. The compact view provides information about the room number, its occupancy status, and the activities that need to be performed.
- Click on the room to get details about the activities, reservation data, or to change the task status to "Progress," "Inspect," or "Completed";
- If you have changed the status to "Progress" or "Inspect," use the "arrow" (1) button to return the status to "Dirty";
- All completed tasks disappear from the list, but you can review them on the "Completed" (5) page, which contains your tasks completed for the current day.
- Use the button in the upper right corner (2) to switch between compact and detailed task views;
- With the bell icon button (4) you can turn on/off the audible indication of new tasks;
- Use the "refresh" (3) button to load the changes to your assigned tasks made after you have already opened the application.
Minibar Charging
We have provided two options for minibar reporting:
Each housekeeper reports the minibar for the room they are cleaning
- Click on the room to open the details and select the "Minibar" (6) button;
- You will see a list of items configured as minibar;
- For each item, mark the quantity and finally confirm;
One employee is responsible for all minibars
For this purpose, we have added a special list of all rooms:
- Go to the "Minibar" (7) page to access the list of rooms;
- Use the search bar at the top of the list to find a specific room;
- Click on the room to load the minibar items;
- Specify the quantities and confirm.
Important: To be able to charge the Minibar to the rooms, the following conditions must be met:
- For the respective housekeeper, the "Allow Minibar charges" setting must be activated;
- There must be a checked-in or checked-out reservation today in the room.
Important: If there are two reservations in the room - for example, one arrived and one departed, charging is not allowed. The goal is for the manager, not the housekeeper, to decide which reservation should be charged.
Report Issues and Found Items
Through the app, you can immediately report issues in rooms or found items. Here’s how to do it:
- Go to the "Report" (8) page;
- Select the type of report - issue or found item;
- Mark the location and add a description;
- If necessary, you can attach a photo;
- Finally, confirm.
For reported issues, the system will immediately create a task for the Housekeeping department, and the report of found items will be added to the "Lost and Found" list.
