To ensure that everything is configured correctly, it is advisable to verify the settings:
- In the "Rate and Availability" screen, we test different combinations of guests. This will allow us to check whether the rates are offered correctly in relation to the restrictions.
- We create a test booking and run through different scenarios — periods, combinations of guests, applied discounts and surcharges.
- If we find inconsistencies:
- If the problem is with the offer/capacity, we adjust the restrictions on the "Rate Management" screen. If the problem is with pricing, we make adjustments to the contract.
Final checklist:
- Guest combinations - do they match the prices in the contract?
- Prices by season and room - are they correct?
- Additional payments for meals - are they applied correctly.
- Adult1 and 3rd Adult - are they working with the correct values.
- Child percentages - are they applied correctly according to age, check the age limits.
- Free nights - are they triggered correctly according to the stay and correct position (start/end) according to the period.
- Early Bird - is the correct percentage applied in the correct period (voucher date).
- Do the restrictions in the rates reflect the actual capacity?
Once all tests are successfully completed, we can be sure that our TO contract is fully configured and ready for real work.
